An anklet is a summer purchase and it is bought thinner than a bracelet. The chain here is the thinnest on the site, and the plate is scaled down with it: the same cursive cut, smaller, so it reads at the distance an ankle is actually seen from. Anything heavier catches on a sock line and turns itself over.
Size this one generously. An ankle is thicker than a wrist by an inch or more, it swells in heat, and an anklet that is exactly right in a shop is tight by four in the afternoon. The extender at the clasp is there for that reason and it is worth using rather than ordering short. The plating is 18K gold over stainless steel; sand and salt water will not eat it, but they will scratch it, and an anklet worn on a beach lives a harder life than the same plate on a neck.

Can a Yofair anklet be worn in the sea?
It will not rust, the chain is stainless steel under the plating: but sand scratches plating, and scratched plating wears through sooner. If it is going on holiday, expect it to look like a holiday anklet by the end of the year.
