Socks printed with a face, one, a couple, or a dog: with a line of text under it, and framed canvas prints in ten by eight and twelve by eight inches that carry a photograph or a family of names arranged as a puzzle.
Everything on this shelf lives or dies on the picture that is uploaded. A face wants to be square on, lit from the front and large in the frame; a photograph taken at arm's length across a table cuts out cleanly, and a group shot does not. Socks are the joke present that gets worn, and the printing goes round the whole foot, so the face repeats up the leg rather than sitting once on the ankle. The canvas prints are the quiet end of the shelf: they arrive framed and ready to hang, at a size that suits a hallway rather than a wall over a sofa, and the family-name print is the one bought when there is no photograph everybody likes.
Prices are the figures from our last update; the Yofair approach updates them on a schedule, and the figure at the till is the one that counts.

Questions about Yofair photo gifts
What a photograph has to look like before it is printed, how many faces fit, and what comes framed.
What photograph works on a Yofair photo gift?
A face square on to the camera, lit from the front, filling the frame. On socks the face is cut out of its background, so a hat brim, sunglasses or a profile cut badly; on a canvas the picture is small, so more than two people in it stops reading.
Do Yofair canvas prints come framed?
Yes, in a plain wood surround, wired and ready to hang, at ten by eight or twelve by eight inches. There is nothing to buy afterwards and nothing to assemble.
Can you put a pet on Yofair socks?
Yes, and the pet styles are made for it. A dog or a cat looking straight at the lens cuts out as cleanly as a person; an animal photographed from above and looking away does not.
