A name blanket is read from the doorway rather than from arm's length, and that changes the design. The name is either repeated in a light script across the whole cloth, which reads as a pattern until you are close, or set once inside a design: a wreath, a sports layout, a row of hearts, which reads as a name from anywhere in the room. Teenagers get the repeated one; younger children get the single name they can point at.
Because there is no photograph, this is the blanket that survives a bad decision. A name is a name at any size, so the only real choice is the rectangle: a lap, a child, a sofa or a bed. Colour is the second choice and the one to make for the room rather than for the person: a blanket that clashes with a sofa gets folded away, and a blanket that is folded away is not a present. Flannel fleece, printed on one face, washed cold.
Every metal tone here is priced on its own; the Yofair collection keeps the figures current and the till is what decides.

Questions about Yofair Name Blanket
A name you can see from the doorway
How is the name printed on a Yofair name blanket?
Either repeated across the whole cloth in a light script, so it reads as a pattern until you are close, or set once inside a design. Which of the two you get depends on the style chosen at the checkout, and the photographs on each card show it.
Which Yofair blanket size suits a teenager?
Fifty by sixty inches: it covers one person on a sofa or a bed without hanging off it. Forty by fifty is a child's size and looks short on anybody taller than about five feet.
Does the name on a Yofair blanket fade in the wash?
Washed cold and tumbled low it holds. What lifts is the pile of the fleece, slightly, in the first wash. Heat is the thing to keep away from it: a hot dryer or an iron on the printed face is what damages these.
